This week has been a busy week with the kids. Madelyn had her pre-kindergarten screening. I was curious what it would include and how she would do. They don't allow the parents to come into the screening area with the kids and since she didn't know the instructor I wasn't sure how it would go. Madelyn did great and we are so proud of her! At her age there is a possible of 48 points and she got 44. It was fun to watch her from outside the door. She looked so grown up - I can't believe she's going to kindergarten in a year and a half. Where does time go?!?!

Jack has taken an interest in going potty on the potty. At first he loved the monkey potty and then Carla let us use a potty chair that makes noise when it gets wet. He thought that was pretty cool but now he's only interested in going on the big potty. He typically goes whenever we put him on the potty. He has even told us before bedtime that he has to go potty so we take him......and he goes. I'm shocked but very happy! I know we still have a long ways to go but we are hopeful that this continues!
