Eric & Heather's Wedding!

We traveled to Tampa, FL for Uncle Eric and Auntie Heather's wedding.  It was the first airplane ride for the kids and they did great!  We arrived in Tampa on Thursday evening, enjoyed pre-wedding festivities on Friday and Saturday morning and then the wedding was Saturday evening.  The time went so fast but we had the best weekend!

We stayed at the Hilton Double Tree on Redington Beach -- absolutely gorgeous and perfect for a wedding.  We swam, walked the beach, hung out at the beach house (Heather's parents own a beach house not far from the hotel) and enjoyed the sunshine and warm weather.  The kids were the center of attention which they of course loved......and that meant Ryan and I had a few moments to ourselves which was a treat too.  Ryan's cousin's daughter, Emmy, was there.  She will be 5 in August and the girls has so much fun together!  They have only met one time before -- back at a funeral in October -- but they picked up where they left off like they have been friends forever.  It was the cutest thing......and they look like they could be sisters!

On Saturday Madelyn and I spent the afternoon getting ready for the wedding.  We had our hair and I had my make up done.  Madelyn was one of the girls and had a smile on her the whole time.  She could not get enough of Heather -- she followed her around and thought she was a princess!  Jack hung out with the guys and according to Ryan and the pictures, he loved every second of it!

I was a little nervous how everything would go since we were all in the wedding and I knew it would/could get a little crazy but the kids did AWESOME and we all had the time of our lives!  The wedding was right before sunset -- absolutely gorgeous backdrop for an amazing couple!  So happy we were able to share in their special day and I am so excited to have Heather as a sister-in-law!
Auntie dropped us off......always so fun to have Auntie there!!!
