Hanging out with Auntie

Jack and I have been fortunate to have had lunch with Auntie a couple times.  We love our time together and always comment how we never have enough time!  It's nice to be able to catch up (without mobile kids) and just be together!  I spent a lot of time at Carla & Luke's house before I met Ryan and before we both had kids.  It reminds me of those days - so many awesome memories - and also reminds me how our lives have changed so much in just a few years.  I wouldn't change any of it!  So blessed to have such an amazing relationship with my sister and my kids are so lucky to call her Auntie! :)  Love you Auntie Car Car!

So happy at Auntie's house!

Fun times with the Froehle's, Nana & Papa

All smiles with their grandkids!
On Tuesday my parents came up to hang out with Jack and I during the day and then Carla & the kids came over for dinner.  It was so fun!  The cousins had a blast (and so did the adults!)!!  Nora is growing up so fast as she is one of the "big kids" now.  She insisted on sitting at the picnic table to eat with Bishop & Madelyn.  She is so cute and did great - held her own and loved every minute of it!

Every time we are together it is so fun as the kids are able to more & more things!  Before we know it, Jack will be chasing these three around!  Can't wait to do it again!

Love these two!
Adorable!

Smiles

Jack has been smiling so much more lately!  Melts my heart when he flashes his big smile and then starts "talking"!

Oh so happy!
Happy big sister hanging out with her brother!

Triple the Fun

We have been fortunate enough to see Madelyn's best friends, Evie & Teagie, the past couple weekends.  They came over last Sunday night as one of their old daycare teachers, Kati, was back from college.

Then last night Kati watched/played with the girls and the parents went on a double date.....with Jack!  We thought it might be too much to leave Jack with the 3 girls.  Not that Kati couldn't handle it but the girls might destroy the place if they were on the loose :)  Jack did great - he slept through dinner so it really was like a double date!

These three girls have a blast together.  They jump up & down and run all over the place because they are so excited to see each other.  It just melts my heart to watch these girls and how much fun they have when they play!

Eating dinner has never been so fun!

Snow Day

Daycare was closed on Tuesday as the Wayzata schools were closed.  Ryan stayed home from work too and we had a family day.  So fun!  Here's Madelyn enjoying her day at home!  I can't help but smile when I see her so happy!

Fun with Grandpa & Grandma Bormann

This past weekend Grandpa & Grandma Bormann came to visit.  We had such a fun weekend!  Madelyn was in heaven when she woke up on Friday.  The first thing she said was "gpa's coffee cup". She doesn't forget anything!  She started saying this when Gpa & Gma Bormann stayed with Madelyn when Jack was born.  She always asks about it whenever she sees or talks to them.  So cute!

I enjoyed a day to myself on Friday, which was so nice!  I had my 6 week dr appt, then I did some errands, got a massage (heavenly!!!) and then I picked up Madelyn from daycare.  I always enjoy picking up Madelyn!  It's a special treat these days as I usually only go when there is someone to watch Jack.  It's Madelyn & Mommy time :)

Friday night Ryan & I had date night!  We went to Redstone.  We had a great time, just the two of us!

Saturday Ryan & I got a lot of things done around the house.  It was nice to have extra hands and the kids loved the special love & attention from Gpa & Gma!

Sunday morning we went out for breakfast at IHop.  The kids did great!  Madelyn entertained us and Jack slept.
Played with the coffee pot
Then she unwrapped all our silverware

Grandma Emily gave Madelyn 2 pair of sunglasses.  As you can see from all the fun pictures they were (and still are) a hit!

This will be Jack's life for a few years!  Pink, girly things!

Such a fun weekend!  We can't wait for them to come back :)

Happy Kiddos!

These are two of my favorites from the weekend!
