Busy Week & Weekend

Madelyn has been busy rolling over these days. She rolled over back in June but then hasn't rolled over much since. In the last week she has gotten so fast at rolling over. It used to take her awhile as she rocked back & forth to build up momentum. Now she just decides to roll and there she goes! She likes rolling over her back to the stomach. She has rolled from her stomach to her back a few times but she usually feels like she is "stuck" when she gets to her tummy. Her neck is getting much stronger.

She has started sitting in the bumbo & playing in the exer-saucer. She loves being upright. It's so fun to watch her play. Her little brain has to be going a million miles an hour as she is learning new stuff all the time!

Did I mention I drool ALL the time?!?!

Daycare continues to go well. She loves it (and so do we)!! They say she "talks" all the time.....more than anyone in the class. Guess she takes after her mama :) She is "star of the month" for the month of August. They post pictures & information about each of the babies. They just started the program and Madelyn was the 1st one, which of course we thought was pretty special.

We have had a busy weekend. We went to Pepitos with Carla, Luke & Bishop on Friday. Always enjoy seeing them! It's amazing to watch Bishop & Madelyn interact. Bishop loves Madelyn and gives her hugs & kisses all the time. Madelyn takes it all in and loves it! Bishop always wants to be close to "baby maddy". Just love that they will grow up being so close to each other! On Friday, Bishop wanted Uncle Ryan to read him books & play. He sat so contently while Uncle Ryan read to him.

Today we skyped Grandpa & Grandma Bormann, hung out with Shari & Max and then Ryan's Aunt Joan & Uncle Brian stopped by. So fun to talk & see everyone!

We have Madelyn's 4 month appointment on Tuesday so I will update with all her stats after the appointment. Hard to believe our baby girl is 4 months old already!

She loves Sophie!
