Thrush (again), Mastitis & Pink Eye

On Wednesday I got a call that Jack had thrush.....so it was off to the dr we went!  I don't think it ever completely cleared up from the 1st round.  We got the same meds and started sterilizing everything, again.  This time I also got a prescription for myself since I had done some research and it talked about nursing moms and babies continuing to share the infection back and forth.  Hopefully we'll get rid of the thrush for good this time around!

That afternoon I realized I had mastitis as well.  Not fun!  I wasn't able to get antibiotics to treat the mastitis because my dr said that the antibiotics actually increase the production of yeast and therefore the thrush would be magnified.  Thankfully I was able to get through the worst of the mastitis and didn't need medication.

Then tonight I noticed my eye was red.  I had been around a cat and dog today so thought that maybe it was just an allergic reaction.  It only affected one eye which I thought was odd if it was from the cat/dog.  I'm still not 100% sure what it was but I put drops in my eye (from the last time I had pink eye) and it cleared up very quickly.

Hoping next week is a healthy week at our house!
