Talking in Sentences

Madelyn has taken off when it comes to talking.  I feel like she went from saying a few words to talking in sentences!  She used to answer "yes" to every question we asked her but now her answers are much more reliable.  I love being able to have a conversation with her.  It's so fun to watch her think and hear her put together a string of words that all make sense!

I typically take the kids to daycare and Ryan rides his bike to work.  Madelyn always wants to "find daddy" on our way to daycare.  When we find him on the road, I roll down her window and she yells "hi daddy!  love you daddy!"

Madelyn loves to go to the park so almost every day on our way home from daycare she says "Go to park in cherry (which is her word for the chariot that she rides in which attaches to Ryan's bike) mommy?"  One day I said "no sweetheart, not tonight maybe we can go tomorrow."  She says "ask daddy" - she already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger!

All ready to go to park in cherry
Who could resist that smile?

She loves to play dress up and walk around in her high heeled shoes with her purse on her shoulder.  The other day our conversation went like this:
Madelyn: Need my high shoes.  Be right back Mommy -
Mommy: Where are you going Madelyn?
Madelyn: shopping :)

One night we were at the park and she had her play phone.  She was swinging, looked at me and said "Madelyn take picture (as she points to her phone)"  Then she says "Madelyn text"

She picked up her Fischer Price laptop last week and said "play on iPad!"  These kids pick up on everything!

You'll find Madelyn wearing a backpack most of the time we are at home!  And my favorite is when she puts her sunglasses on, upside down!  Too cute.

Madelyn adores her brother and just loves being around him.  The other day when we got home from daycare she said "I kiss Jack".  Madelyn leaned over his carseat and kissed Jack.  Jack smiled and my heart melted.

Love!
