Madelyn is 3!!!

Love her smile - can't believe she is 3!

We were all set to celebrate Madelyn's 3rd birthday on Saturday April 12th but Jack woke up and threw up.  It was the strangest thing as he threw up 2x, took a 2 1/2 hour nap and then was back to himself.  We weren't sure if it was something he ate or a virus so we decided to hold off on Madelyn's party.

The hardest part was that Madelyn was so excited for her birthday.  This is the first year she realized what her birthday meant and she had been talking about it for weeks.  The part that crushed me was on Saturday morning when Madelyn taking the paper plates and putting them on the table and she says "am I going to have lots of people come to my birthday?"  Uncle Chris had left very early so he ended up coming up anyways so we celebrated with the Bormann's on Saturday and decided to celebrate with the Bishop's on Sunday.  Madelyn loved every minute of her birthday weekend!
