Happy happy birthday to my bestest friend who I also am lucky enough to call my sister!!! We had a blast celebrating my sister's birthday this year! On Wednesday afternoon we met up and had pedicures and then we went to happy hour! It was the perfect afternoon! It was so fun to spend time with my sister - just the 2 of us. We see each other quite often but we are usually (always) chasing the kids around so our conversations are interrupted and typically unfinished. We could have stayed and talked all night! Love our sister time!
On Sunday we celebrated again but this time we included our families :) We met at Carla's house and she made brunch…..for her own birthday! It was so delicious, as always, and the kids had a blast playing. We tried the sprinkler but only Bishop was interested in getting wet. Everyone else just sat back and watched him. Such a fun morning and especially fun to celebrate Carla! She does so much for everyone else…..her family, our family, her friends…..it was fun to celebrate her!
We are the best of friends and have such a strong sister bond - I am truly blessed to call her my sister! We communicate every day and it's always so comforting to know she's ALWAYS there for me, no matter what is going on. Even if it's just to say good morning and good night - that means so much and I would be lost with her!
Carla, thanks for being you and for always being there for me! You are an amazing wife, mom, daughter, sister (sister-in-law) and auntie! I am incredibly blessed to call you my sister! Madelyn & Jack LOVE you and talk about Auntie all the time! Hope you enjoyed your special day! We love you!!!!
