We had the Papke's over for lunch on Saturday. We considered it our family Christmas celebration! It had been awhile since the kids had all been together and it was a fun time. The kids played and then we decorated sugar cookies and ate the reindeer cookies that Madelyn helped me make - yummy! Baby Bennett is growing up so fast.....he's no longer a baby but he'll always be the baby between our families :) Always love spending time with the Papke's - such a special friendship that started between Katie and me and expanded to our families!

That night we went to look at Christmas lights and then had ice cream at Honey & Mackey's. We started this tradition a couple years ago and it's one we plan to continue. Such a fun night and puts everyone in the Christmas spirit! By the way, both kids ate all their ice cream! :)
On Sunday afternoon we went to a Children's Play with the McCormick's......The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. The kids loved it! Jack got a little squirmy towards the end (it lasted about 75 min) but other than that it went well and was a fun time! Afterwards we went to have burgers & fries which is always a treat.
What an amazing weekend! We are so blessed to have such amazing friends - both adults & children! This is what the Christmas season is all about - spending time with family & friends!
