We had Jack's 2 week appt on 2/7/2013. He is doing great and growing like crazy!
Our only concern was that he had thrown up a few times the week before. Never more than 1x/day but we were still wondering if he might have a stomach bug or maybe reflux. Our dr didn't think either of those were the case......she thinks that it's a combination of Jack eating too much at one time (his tummy gets too full too fast) and because I produce a lot of milk and it comes pretty fast so Jack is just learning how to eat/take it in. We have kept him upright after his feedings and he has done much better. Hopefully that continues!
The morning of Jack's appointment I was home by myself with both kids for a couple hours. Madelyn was sent home from daycare the day before (with pink eye) so she couldn't go back until Friday. My parents were planning to come up that afternoon and just came a little earlier (thank goodness!) in the day. Not easy taking care of an almost 2 year old and a 2 week old. Kudos to the parents that do that - not an easy task!

Weight: 9 lbs 7 oz (90%) (he weighed 8 lbs 4 oz at birth so he is doing great as far as gaining weight!)
Jack is a very happy and content little guy! He is most alert and awake from 6-9 am and from 8-10 pm. He is a good sleeper so we are happy about that. He sleeps for 3 hours stretches at night and has thrown in a 4 hour stretch here and there. Nothing consistent but we'll take anything we can get!
