Warmer weather!

Today we went to TCF Stadium after gymnastics.  The Gopher football team was playing their spring scrimmage.  We have never been to the new stadium so that was fun to see.  The weather was gorgeous.  We went with Evie & Teagie's family and the girls had so much fun running around and just being together!  No pictures as it was enough to keep track of our family and all our stuff! :)

We were outside the whole day (except for nap time) as it was the first nice weekend we have had this spring!  We are soaking it all in as you never know when another snow storm is on its way!  We can hardly wait for summer!

Madelyn's 2nd Birthday Party & Jack's Baptism

We celebrated Madelyn's 2nd birthday and Jack's baptism on Saturday.  It worked out great to combine the parties since quite a few people came from out of town.  Ryan's brother & his girlfriend from Chicago were able to make it so it was fun to have them there to celebrate!  We started the party at 3:30 and then church/baptism was at 5:30.  Hello Kitty was the theme for Madelyn's birthday as she has really been into Hello Kitty lately.  Grandma Emily's birthday is April 10th so we celebrated her special day as well!  Lots of celebrations - it was the perfect day!

Easter Weekend

We went to Owatonna on Saturday to celebrate Easter with my family.  We had such a fun time!

We visited my Grandma at the Care Center.  She fell a week ago and broke her pelvis.  It was great to see her and my Grandpa (he came over to visit while we were there).  She was happy to see us and it was great to see her smile.  She loved holding and rocking Jack - I think she could have held him all day long!  She wanted to hold Madelyn but as you might guess that wasn't as easy since almost 2 year olds are too busy to sit for longer than a couple seconds! 

  

Then we went to the Easter Egg hunt.  The kids had a great time!  It was funny - Madelyn was more excited to get the eggs before the hunt started.

Then we went back to my parent's house and had Easter dinner and the kids opened their Easter baskets.  Such a fun day!!

On Sunday we went to church.  Madelyn's friends' family joined us which worked out great.  We were a little nervous how the girls would do but they did awesome.  Then we came back to our house for brunch and the girls played.  They didn't eat brunch.....only candy!  Madelyn and Evie both complained of tummy aches later in the day - not surprised :)  It was a fabulous weekend!
