Girl Time in Owatonna

And they are off to Otown!
On Friday, Carla and Nora were going to Owatonna to see Nana & Papa for the day/night and offered to bring Madelyn for a girls day & sleepover!  It was a bit last minute as we weren't sure how Madelyn would be feeling after being sick on New Years Eve but it all worked out.  Auntie Carla is THE BEST!  She came up and picked up Madelyn from daycare and then they were off to Owatonna for a fun day......and yes they had so much fun!  Nora and Madelyn played dolls, had a tea party, they went to the shoe store, the library and of course had donuts!  The only time Madelyn got a little sad was when it was bedtime and she was missing us.  Auntie was sooooo good to Madelyn - read to her, let her sleep on her and rubbed her back until she finally fell asleep.  Madelyn was back to herself in the morning!  Thank you Auntie for taking such good care of Madelyn and treating her like one of your own!  Our kids are lucky kids to have such an amazing Auntie!  WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

We met Carla, Nora and Madelyn at St Olaf for the Women's Basketball game this afternoon.  I am doing the mentoring program through GAC again this year so we wanted to watch Lindsey (my mentee) play.  The Gusties won - it was a close finish but fun to watch them pull out the win.  The kids all loved the game.  We will definitely be going back for more games this season.  Jack is perfecting his goose neck :)

Carla and Nora came back to our house for dinner after the game.  Such a great way to end a fun couple days for the girls!
Tea party!

Finally asleep......precious little girls!

We took Jack to 5 Guys and he loved it!
